STEP ONE - Individual Court Fees/Team Nomination
For Individual Player Nomination, click the link below and sign in/create an account with Basketball Connect. Then press "New Participant Registration" or click on "YOUR NAME". When selecting a "Competition" to play in, select or search "Sutherland/Menai Basketball" and select "2025 Menai Dragons - Winter Comp". Under "Membership Details", select "Event/Program - Player". For "Registration Divisions", please select the age group you will play in. NOTE, age groups are set for how old you turn in 2025. If you turn 14 in 2025, you are too old for UNDER 14 and will play in UNDER 16.

Please remember, Menai Dragons Saturday Competition is a local competition. Our goal is to provide a fair and even competition. Whilst we encourage teams to register as a set team, the Club will place the team into the competition which is right for them, i.e. if an Under 12s team has multiple Rep Players or is too dominant for their competition, the Club may move that team up an age group to promote a fairer competition. Alternatively, set teams who wish to stay in their age group may need to split their team.

STEP TWO - Basketball NSW Insurance
Basketball NSW Insurance must be paid and current for all players. This is paid through Sutherland Basketball Association. Players must have their own individual portal. Existing players will already be set up. New players can click the link and create a portal, however, the Basketball NSW Insurance invoice will not appear on your portal until about Week 4 of the competition. This cost is yearly and valid for 12 months. Costs are U8 ($20), 8-11years ($90), 12-17 years ($135). Please note Active Kids Vouchers can be used for this fee.
